Job Description

We are recruiting for one of the established real estate players with their portfolio spanning across various commercial real estate classes which include integrated retail, office, lodging as well as business parks, industrial, logistics and data centres.

Report to the Head of Risk Management, you will support the management of financial risks including investment and credit risks. You will be responsible for evaluating risks of new investment proposals and independently analyses new investment proposals from all angles, identify and clearly present pertinent risks and appropriate risk mitigating measures in written risk evaluation reports.

 

You will be involved in analysis such property market, financial assumptions in cashflow projections, structure/counterparty, Foreign Exchange, interest rate, integrity, concentration risks, etc., reviewing and ensuring integrity of project cashflow models for proposed investments. You will also review the hurdle rate methodology and regularly update input parameters for risk adjusted investment hurdle rates and country concentration limits to the Risk Committee of the Board.  You will prepare and present integrated risk reports by performing risk analysis of the Group’s existing portfolio to the Risk Committee of the Board on quarterly basis. Review and develop strategic and financial Key Risk Indicators to monitor and track the various financial risks impacting the Group.

 

Requirements

You are degree qualified with a Bachelor’s in Accounting, Business, Real Estate or Finance and have about 10 years and more of professional experience in corporate finance, real estate credit evaluation, real estate research or property valuation/investment.

 

You have knowledge of and be able to apply corporate finance principles, project cash flow evaluation, property risk assessment, country risk evaluation, legal structuring, interest rate and foreign exchange risk evaluation etc.
