Job Description

We are recruiting for a leading real estate investment and development company. They are well-know for their quality and owns a mix of residential, commercial and hospitality projects across Asia Pacific.

They are currently seeking an Assistant Manager – Leasing to join their team in Singapore. You will be supporting the leasing and marketing functions, execute strategic asset management strategies for the commercial portfolio. You will pro-actively engaging tenants and shareholders’ representatives to establish long-term business relationships, maximizing occupancy and yield of the portfolio. You will be involved in the budgeting and re-forecasting exercises and provide necessary analysis of the portfolio.

Key Responsibilities include:

You will develop and implement leasing strategy and tenant mix for retail properties to achieve maximum occupancy rate and income for portfolio. You will manage existing tenancies and establish/maintain good landlord-tenant relationships.

You will review lease proposals received and put forth recommendations as well as preparing and analysing monthly tenants’ sales performance report and work with tenants to improve revenue. You will ensure above-budget rent and competitive optimal lease terms for new or renewing tenants are achieved.

You will be engaging in negotiations to secure leasing deals and facilitate the proper execution of necessary leasing documents - from managing leasing enquiries to completion of lease documentation and ensure compliance with company operating procedures.

You will work with the Marketing team to enhance the awareness of branding of the mall, and the planning and execution of the advertising and promotional campaigns in the mall. You will monitor and review leasing & marketing operations and ensure proper policies and procedures are followed.

 

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years relevant experience in retail marketing and leasing.
  • Strong commercial and business acumen, strategic tenant mix planning, and excellent negotiation and communication abilities.
