Job Description
We are recruiting for a real estate firm with a global mandate focusing on investing in hospitality and accommodation-related assets which cuts across various sub-sectors like hotels, serviced residences, rental housing, co-living, student accommodation and senior housing.
This is a dual-function role sitting within the CIO Office, providing integrated support across both Investments and Investor Relations functions. You will be involved in evaluating investment opportunities and contributing to investor relations activities, research and market analysis.
Your key responsibilities will be
- Supporting evaluation and execution of acquisitions and divestments
- Building and maintaining financial models for investment analysis and portfolio forecasting
- Conducting market research, financial analysis and due diligence (commercial, financial, tax, legal and technical) on potential transactions
- Assisting in preparation of investment papers, board materials and approval documentation
- Supporting deal execution processes, including compliance requirements, and the creation and tracking of transaction budgets
- Supporting preparation of annual reports, quarterly results presentations, AGM materials and investor communications
- Analysing portfolio and industry data to generate insights for investor messaging
- Conducting research and monitor market trends, peer performance and investor sentiment within the hospitality and living sectors
- Supporting equity capital markets activities, including fund raising initiatives and preparation of related documentation
- Assisting in responding to investor queries and supporting engagement initiatives
Requirements / Qualifications
- You possess a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Real Estate, Business or a related discipline from a reputable educational institute and comes with about 3–4 years of relevant experience in investments, real estate, corporate finance, or capital markets
- You are highly numerate and possess strong financial modelling and analytical capabilities with a good understanding of financial statements, valuation methodologies and investment concepts
- Strong ability to manage multiple workstreams under tight timelines in a fast-paced environment
- Self-motivated team player with a proactive and collaborative approach
