Job Description

We are recruiting for a Real Estate Investment firm who is known to repositioning and transforming spaces to suit the needs of Today’s Real Estate world. They adopt more of a value-add strategies and will be looking to expand further.

You will be playing a crucial role in supporting the growth, management and performance reporting of their real estate portfolio, with involvement in all phases of the asset lifecycle—from acquisition, re-positioning/AEI planning, leasing, marketing and branding, operator management, property management operation to exit.

You will support in the development and execution of repositioning strategies for new assets and existing asset portfolio, including carrying out asset enhancement works, leasing strategies, asset branding, property operations and ESG strategies. You will work closely with key stakeholders such as third-party operators, leasing agents, property management teams to ensure optimal performance of assets. You will be monitoring refurbishment and operational key performance indicators (KPIs) for the asset, meeting underwritten asset performance and approved business plan. You will work closely with Finance to review asset P&Ls, identify variance and proactively suggest optimization opportunities as well to assisting in revenue streams, preparation of forecasting and budgeting exercises for asset portfolio as well as carrying out portfolio asset valuations, insurances renewals, loan covenants monitoring etc.

You will also be assisting in the underwriting process for new acquisitions, particularly for rental assumptions, re-positioning planning, support in due diligence and transaction completion process relating to the property and assist in the disposition process, marketing coordination, and transaction management by working with brokers, legal teams, and other stakeholders etc.

 

Requirements

  • Degree qualified in Accounting, Real Estate, Business from a reputable education institute and have about 5 to 8 years of experience in investment and asset management role with a real estate PERE.
  • Being hands-on and proficient in financial modelling and analysis, with advanced Excel & Powerpoint skills as well as the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
