Assistant Manager or Manager, Finance & Accounting
Job Description
- Oversee the management and monitoring of the assigned group of companies and assets, including:
- review of monthly management report, analysis of variances and monitoring of expenditures;
- resolution of accounting, legal, regulatory and operational issues arising;
- manage taxation issues and be alerted to tax exposures, and ensure prompt filing of statutory taxes;
- monitor and ensure the fixed asset register, capital expenditure and FFE reserve accounts are properly maintained, controlled and updated on a timely basis;
- manage collections and ensure rentals from lessees and hotel operators are promptly settled;
- assist in monitoring the overall cash flow position;
- keep abreast of changes in accounting standards and the implementation thereof in the group accounts;
- Provide support for acquisitions/divestments and due diligence activities, assist with due diligence review, structuring, accounting proforma and review transaction documents;
- Assist with the preparation and/or review of the quarterly and yearly SGX Announcement, financial reports and presentation materials for the Board & Audit Committee;
- Assist with tax planning, transfer pricing and tax restructuring exercises of the Group;
- Assist in the quarterly, interim and year-end financial reporting and audits for the Group, including the annual audited financial statements and Annual Report;
- Assist in monitoring compliance with the Group's policies and procedures;
- To carry out such duties and job functions as may be assigned to you from time to time by the Company Officers acting on behalf of the Company.
Requirements:
- Degree in Accountancy, Certified Public Accountant or possess a professional qualification in Finance
- At least 6 years of relevant working experience preferably in listed real estate companies or REITs.
