Job Description
Our client is a prominent family office manages and invests across Asia, with a particular focus on venture and growth-stage investments, is now looking for an Assistant / Finance Manager overseeing its finance and accounting operations.
Key Responsibilities
Accounting & Financial Management
Manage the overall finance operations of the Singapore entity and associated investment holding companies.
Maintain accounting records and oversee day-to-day financial transactions.
Prepare quarterly management accounts for the management company and investment holding entities.
Coordinate preparation of annual audited financial statements in accordance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS).
Prepare and monitor annual operating budgets.
Maintain loan schedules, calculations and related records.
Lead the annual audit process and ensure statutory and group reporting deadlines are met.
Manage accounts payable and receivable across the relevant entities.
Support improvements to group structures, finance policies and internal procedures.
Tax & Regulatory
Work with external tax advisers to ensure timely and accurate statutory compliance.
Coordinate corporate income tax and Estimated Chargeable Income filings.
Manage GST reporting and other relevant Singapore tax obligations.
Corporate & Investment Administration
Oversee external corporate-secretarial and administrative service providers.
Coordinate board and shareholder resolutions, minutes and statutory registers.
Support Annual General Meetings and annual regulatory filings.
Coordinate FATCA and CRS reporting.
Support investment subscription documentation.
Manage KYC and related investment documentation.
You are;
Qualified accountant, ideally ACCA, CPA, CA or equivalent.
Approximately 4-8 years of experience within alternative sector.
Strong knowledge of SFRS and IPEV
Strong Excel skills and familiarity with accounting systems.
Strong analytical, attention to details, and organisation skills.
Strong communicator with the ability to manage external advisers and internal stakeholders.
