Finance Lead, Controllership (REIT)

An established Singapore-listed REIT is seeking an experienced Finance Lead to lead its finance function across accounting, financial reporting, tax, treasury, risk management and internal controls.

Reporting directly to the CFO, this is a senior finance leadership role with broad exposure to both operational and strategic matters, including corporate transactions, refinancing and capital management.

Key Responsibilities
 - Lead the finance team and oversee monthly closing, consolidation and variance analysis.
 - Manage quarterly and annual financial reporting, including Board reporting and SGX announcements.
 - Ensure compliance with accounting standards, SGX, MAS and applicable REIT regulations.
 - Lead annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting and management reporting.
 - Manage statutory and internal audits, internal controls and enterprise risk management.
 - Oversee corporate tax, GST and related tax compliance matters.
 - Manage cash flow, treasury funding, interest rate exposure and hedging.
 - Support loan refinancing, lender reporting and capital management activities.
 - Partner with the CFO on acquisitions, divestments, equity raising and other corporate initiatives.

Requirements

 - Degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent, with professional accounting qualification preferred.
 - 10 to 15 years of relevant finance and accounting experience.
 - Prior Singapore REIT experience strongly preferred.
 - Strong knowledge of financial reporting, consolidation and regulatory requirements.
 - Good understanding of treasury, financing, tax and risk management.
 - Proven people-management experience with strong stakeholder and communication skills.
 - Self-driven, commercially minded and comfortable working closely with senior leadership.
