Job Description
We are recruiting for a CEO for an upcoming REIT and as the key appointment holder, you will be responsible in driving the application and listing process with the Singapore Exchange (SGX).
You will ensure information integrity and ensure all information in the prospectus and introductory documents is complete, accurate, and not misleading.
You will be leading the capital raising initiatives such as engaging in roadshows and pre-marketing activities to secure cornerstone investors and managing the IPO fundraising process.
You will provide strategic vision and insights in defining the long-term growth strategy for the new trust.
For post listing, you are expected to drive the overall business direction and operational decisions, including asset acquisitions, divestments, and enhancement initiatives (AEIs). You will focus on maintaining and growing the Distribution per Unit (DPU) to meet investor expectations. You will ensure that risk management are in place and measures in identifying and mitigating principal business risks, including interest rate fluctuations and capital intensity are adequate.
You will ensure the REIT manager complies with the MAS guidelines, the Securities and Futures Act (SFA), and the SGX Listing Manual. You maintain your fiduciary duty of undivided loyalty to the unitholders, prioritizing their interests over the REIT manager or sponsor.
You will be expected to deliver stable income and long-term capital growth for unitholders. You will maintain high occupancy rates and surmounting rental reversions and ensure that disciplined management of the REIT's debt-to-asset limit in view of balance sheet flexibility.
Requirements
You have more than 20 years of experience in Finance, Law, Business, Accountancy or a Masters/Higher qualification from a reputable educational institute with proven experience (at least 10 years) in senior executive roles within the real estate industry.
Candidates with IPO/investment banking/corporate finance experience will be held in high regards.
You possess strong commercial acumen with excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate at all levels.
You have excellent presentation and stakeholder management in managing internal and external stakeholders.
You are strategic thinker with a track record of driving business growth and achieving measurable results.
