Job Description

Our client, a pioneer in hospitality industry, is currently seeking for a Financial Controller overseeing a property located in the prime location of Singapore. 

• You will lead, manage, and mentor the finance team, conduct regular performance reviews, training, and development initiatives, manage relationships with vendors, ensuring that all items purchased are received and bills are paid timely.
• You will evaluate and address financial risks associated with the hotel operation, regularly update the owners and hotel’s management team and other stakeholders about the financial status of the hotel and continuously review processes for improvement and stay updated with the latest best practices in hotel finance management.
• You are tasked to do financial reporting, forecast and budgeting, and business partner closely with the GM and commercial teams.
• You will lead and actively involved in process improvement and system integration.

Requirements

• You possess a bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or related field, has a proven experience (min of 8-10 years of relevant experience) in a similar role in the hospitality industry and strong knowledge of hotel accounting software (Sun Accounting System) and other related systems (Operate Cloud, POS).
• You should also possess the positive attitude and be flexible in managing the challenges, and prepared to roll your sleeves up at any point of time to support the team. 
• You should be savvy in system usage and experience in system integration.
• You should have ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
